By accessing or using Fight or Flight Preparedness ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Fight or Flight Preparedness is an emergency preparedness planning application that helps users create emergency kits, plan for various scenarios, track inventory, and manage readiness. The Service includes:

• Emergency kit and checklist creation tools
• Scenario planning and action steps
• Inventory tracking and management
• Skills and certification tracking
• Print-ready checklists
• Pro subscription features (unlimited certifications, premium templates)

Important Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for your own safety and preparedness. This Service provides tools to help you organize your preparations, but cannot ensure your safety in an emergency.

User Accounts

To use the Service, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Subscription and Payment

Free Tier

The free tier provides access to core features with limitations (e.g., up to 10 certifications).

Pro Subscription

Pro subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the current subscription fee each billing period
• Automatic renewal until you cancel
• No refunds for partial months

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing period. No refunds will be provided for unused time.

Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Share your account credentials with others
• Scrape, copy, or reverse engineer the Service
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fight or Flight Preparedness and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Your preparedness data (kits, scenarios, inventory) remains yours. By using the Service, you grant us a license to store and process this data to provide the Service to you.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service
• We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of preparedness information
• We are not liable for any harm, injury, or loss during an actual emergency
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the last 12 months

Data and Service Availability

We strive to maintain the Service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We recommend regularly exporting your data as a backup.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the account settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
